Response to prompt 6 (music)

i dont think you should put a label on someone just because of the specific music that they enjoy. it would be very prejudice and you wouldn't like it if it was done to you. I personally love all types of music, and the particular music i enjoy doesnt really make me who i am. music is indeed a big part of my life. i cant go a day without it. i like rap and hip hop but that doesnt make me ignorant or evil, punk music doesnt make me a "i wanna party and dont care" person, country music doesnt make me a hillbilly.. these are really just stereotypes and labels that people place on others just because they like these certain types of music. you dont actually know someone until you actually get to know them. you may not have the same taste in music as your friends or family but you must have something that you love about them.

Response to prompt 5 (should we meat?)

I think everyone has a right to eat what they desire. if you want tofurkey, go for it! if you want turkey, go for it! for a girl who doesn't really eat turkey on thanksgiving, the fact that my mother usually makes a Spanish dish, turkey is really every other two years. meat was put on the earth to eat, so i have no problem eating meat, i do have friends who are vegetarians and i respect that and in no way try changing them, they ahve in fact one time try making me, but it didnt work. everyone should really just enjoy what they desire and not be bothered with it :)

Response to prompt 4 (movies vs violence)

I think depending on the type of person watching a violent movie can react violent. if you have some crazy person watching movies that involve killing, torture, rape, or abduction then yea you have someone getting influenced to do things like that, the movie will be encouraging it more. Not only with psycho people but sometimes younger children watch things in movies and on tv and that makes them want to do it too. sometimes parents do have to watch what their kids watch. tv and movies from back when i was growing up was way different from what they show now. not always is it the parents fault, because no matter how much they watch their children, they always have access to things at school, on the web, friends, etc.
